In the winter Highway 108 is closed 7 miles east of Strawberry, just beyond Cow Creek. The only way to access cabins beyond the gate in the winter is by snowmobile. Although west of the gate, cabins in Bumblebee and Cow Creek may be difficult to access due to the snow.
